Spirit of Sharing

Greetings:

I hope this note finds you well and that you are enjoying some pretty nice fall weather.

I am writing to let you know that I am again, with the wonderful folks at the Pownal Elementary School, helping coordinate Pownal's annual Spirit of Sharing. Over the past several years, your kind generosity and that of your friends and neighbors have helped brighten the holidays for hundreds of Pownal children from families less fortunate than ours.

Last year was a tremendous challenge, as the national economy continued to take its toll on our town and our region. As you can imagine, this year is no different.

There are a couple of ways to participate. Financial contributions of any amount are always welcome as are volunteers who would like to shop personally for a local youngster. And innovative ideas are always encouraged!

Tax-deductible contributions may be made to the Friends of Pownal, Inc., a tax-exempt non-profit corporation created for the betterment of Pownal and its citizens.

If you would like to participate, my contact information is below. And please pass along this e-mail to friends and family.

Thanks so much for all you continue to do to make Pownal a better place to live, work and play.

With best regards,

Peter
